YENDYS - GRAND PRIX YACHTING
Geoff Ross launched his new Reichel/Pugh 55 late 2006. It was the first boat out of McConaghy International's new boatyard in China. Yendys (Sydney spelt backwards) has been an icon of the Australian sailing scene for many a year, but expectations were high for the new boat...
And so far, she has delivered. Yendys debuted in the 2006 Rolex Trophy Ratings Series with a 2nd and went on to a 4th on IRC overall for the Hoabrt. The brillant red logo has been seen at the front of most sailing events since. Geoff has chosen the sail number 1836, which is the year his ancenstors first arrived in Hobart via convict transportation.
Yendys enbodies all that Musto represents - the latest technology, the desire and passion to succeed, and all with a wicked sense of style!
