MUSTO strives to produce garments that are free of defects in either workmanship or materials. Should any garment carry a swing ticket featuring The MUSTO Promise and develop a fault within its reasonable working life, MUSTO will, at our discretion, replace or repair the garment free of charge. Simply take the garment to the stockist or store who supplied it, with your proof of purchase. This applies to the original purchaser only and does not affect your statutory rights. To keep your products performing at their best, you can follow this simple guide on how to care for your technical clothing.

Waterproof Outer Layers

  • After use, rinse off with fresh, clean water
  • Do not store wet
  • Reproof on a regular basis (how regular will be based on how often the garment is used) with a specialist reproofing product. MUSTO recommends Granger’s.

Drysuits

  • After use, rinse off with fresh, clean water
  • Do not store wet
  • Apply talcum powder to latex seals
  • Reproof on a regular basis (how regular will be based on how often the garment is used) with a specialist reproofing product. MUSTO recommends Granger’s

Footwear

  • After use, clean with fresh water and a non-detergent soap and rinse thoroughly
  • Avoid contact with direct heat source
  • Protect and reproof with specialist products. Musto recommends Granger's Footwear Proofer and Granger's G-Max Universal Waterproofer
  • Do not store in direct sunlight

The Musto Repair Service

Repairs made necessary by normal wear and tear or accidental damage can usually be carried out through the MUSTO Repair Service. Repairs are chargeable and quotes are available upon request.

Repairs carried out by the MUSTO repair team will be guaranteed for a period of 1 year. If it is wear and tear damage, it is likely that the garment will need to be replaced accordingly at a later stage. Should any repair fail to perform within a reasonable period we will re-assess the repair upon its own merit.

By having your garment repaired by MUSTO you can be sure that the integrity of the garment is preserved. Typical repairs include:

Standard

Replace studs
Tape repair
Patch repair
Cuffs replacement
New lining
Zip replacement

Technical

Replace Gore-Tex lining
Replace seat patch
Shorten/lengthen arm

Drysuit

Replace seals (waist, neck, wrist or ankle)
Replace zips
Re-glue seals
Tank test

Please ask your MUSTO dealer for further details or contact our Customer Services Team. If you wish to return an item for repair please post it to the address below, marked Returns Department. We also suggest you obtain a proof of posting certificate from your post office. We do not accept responsibility for any goods returned to us that are damaged or lost in transit.
